Exide Technologies has introduced its GNB Wrapped Positive Plate PWQ battery. The PWQ joins the existing PDQ battery in the company’s Flooded Classic line of large Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) batteries. The PWQ is designed to deliver emergency power to critical computer data center facilities and utility power plant auxiliary equipment. The wrapped separator configuration in the battery is accepted in the industry as a premium feature which is designed to lengthen service life.
