GUANGZHOU, China and San Diego, California – September 6, 2023 – Great Power, a leading global battery manufacturer since 2001, announces the appointment of energy industry veteran Evan Bierman as President of Great Power North America. Bierman will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s North American growth strategy and expansion, including sales, marketing, engineering, and R&D.

Bierman has served in multiple energy storage and utility positions during his career and held leadership roles in product development, project design, regulatory compliance, and supply chain management. These positions included COO of Smartville Inc.; Director, Energy Storage Product Management and Renewable Integration at EDF Renewables North America; Solar Energy Performance Engineer and Financial Analyst at Sempra Generation; and Principal Analyst at San Diego Gas & Electric. With over a decade of experience within the clean energy sector, he brings a demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies that drive global alignment, standardization, and process improvements.
