Ion Storage Systems, Inc. announced the closing of its Series A funding round, exceeding its original target of $30 million. The company welcomed investments from Toyota Ventures, Tenaska, Bangchak Corporation and other investors, in addition to the investments from its lead investors. BSLBATT announced that construction of the new energy storage plant is almost complete, doubling its capacity to produce 500 10kWh batteries per day, and the new project will initially produce up to 1.44 GW of lithium home batteries per year, ensuring a stable and continuous supply of products.
BSLBATT New Model of Home Lithium Batteries Starts the Journey of UN38.3
BSLBATT announced today that 5 new models of home lithium batteries will begin the UN38.3 certification journey, a process that is an important part of BSLBATT's vision to achieve the "Best solution Lithium Battery". UN38.3 refers to part 3, paragraph 38.3 of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria for the Transport of Dangerous Goods, which is specially formulated by the United Nations for the transport of dangerous goods.

The study validated the machines and processes required to bring solid-state batteries to industrial production levels. In their respective fields, the two companies are pioneering solid-state battery technologies and have developed a roadmap to scale the production to 2 MWh per year by the end of 2023. Ilika's Goliath all-solid-state battery (ASSB) technology for electric vehicles has the potential to improve pack-level energy and power density.
